Another day, another new crop of new M&Ms flavours have been announced! The last couple of years have seen the M&Ms brand pit 3 exciting new M&Ms flavours against each other, with the winner staying on for 18 months and 2019 will be no exception! Last year was the turn of Crunchy Espresso, Crunchy Strawberry and Crunchy Mint.

With 2019, it seems that M&Ms have a view to take things international, offering 3 new themed treats, based around their popular peanut M&Ms. The flavours – which will be voted on by the public – shall be:

  • English Toffee Peanut
  • Mexican Jalapeno Peanut
  • Thai Coconut Peanut

These flavours were announced on SnackChatLive’s Instagram with a cheeky pic of all three packets.

New M&M Flavours

Its not the first time that we’ve seen Coconut combined with M&Ms – up until a couple of years ago, Australia was fortunate enough to experience the original M&M recipe given the Coconut treatment. These were massively popular, and we’ve even had a number of requests from customers to ask if we can get hold of them (sadly not – as we’d love to try them!).

English Toffee M&Ms seem like another excellent choice – here in the UK, we’ve recently seen Crunchy Caramel M&Ms, and these could potentially be a nuttier version of those. We’re imagining that these might taste like small bites of Snickers, which is no bad thing.

The real headline, however, is the Mexican Jalapeno Peanut Flavour! Whilst chilli and chocolate is a surprisingly popular combination outside of the world of M&Ms, it’s usually the reserve of some high-end item that has to be specially ordered! It’s rare to see them combined in a mainstream product such as M&Ms – we can’t wait to try these!

All of these M&Ms sound great, and once they’re released, we’ll see about getting them into one of our monthly boxes – although it won’t be until 2019!
